People often ask us why we do what we do? The short answer is – we love coffee!
We were inspired by the BIG Pittsburgh coffee roasters and decided that someone should be doing this in the Beaver Valley area, so why not us? Now here we are 9 years later brewing inspiration from bean to cup.
But, it doesn’t stop there; we also have a heart for the people and cultures that cultivate our coffees! Wherever possible, we source coffee from farms, private estates, and coops where people as well as product are priority! We support organizations that produce and export coffee to the highest international standards including working with farmers affected by the constant struggles of ongoing conflicts in the third world where much of the world’s coffee is grown. Many of these places are havens of exceptional beauty. With our partnership we are able to support efforts that conserve the natural beauty of the coffee growing countries and preserve the ecological balance for future generations. Our purchasing power enables farmers and their families to rebuild their lives. Coffee proceeds are used by these coffee communities to invest in housing, schools, health centers, and clean water.
As you can see, our romance with coffee runs deep and our goal is to continually provide you with exceptional coffee from around the globe while working to improve the livelihoods of the farmers and their families both socially and economically.
